The Duke's Motto; Or, I Am Here! A Play in a Prologue and Four Acts This play was first produced in London. The first American production was at Niblo's Garden on June 1, 1863. The play was popular enough that it was parodied in such subsequent productions as <cite>The Duke's Device</cite>, <cite>The Duke's Signal</cite>, and <cite>The Duke's What Is It?</cite>.
