Matilda Heron in 'Geraldine' In this letter to the editor, Ada Clare favorably reviews a new American play, <cite>Love's Victory </cite>.  While disliking the formal baronial themes, she praises the performance of Matilida Heron in the role of "Geraldine."  The reviewer exalts the passion with which Ms. Heron throws herself into her part, but is careful to criticize her American acting style. Clare also mentions some of the notable figures attending the play: "Among the distinguished persons present, I noticed Fry, and Seymour, and Stuart, Fanny Fern, Getty Gay, and Ninon of the <cite>Atlas</cite>, together with Doesticks, Dick Tinto, and Personne."
