Dramatic Feuilleton Personne begins by repeating his remarks made at the beginning of the season about his goals and affiliations in writing the Feuilletons. Personne reviews Bourcicault's The Octoroon at the Winter Garden and Everybody's Friend at Wallack's. Personne writes of general theatrical news and benefits. He also notes that "Awful" Jefferson has left the Winter Garden after a "difficulty" with Bourcicault and has been "reengaged" by Keene. Personne discusses the upcoming plays at Laura Keene's Theatre and reprints a plot summary of The Dead Heart. Personne also corrects his previous column, Brougham will not be doing Rip Van Winkle for Wallack's, but will write a new play called The Winter King.
