Dramatic Feuilleton O'Brien devotes the column to the discussion of the role of Hamlet.  This discussion is prompted by Barry Sullivan's appearance in this role at Burton's.  O'Brien engages in a lengthy character study of Hamlet and claims that Hamlet would have been a Bohemian if he hadn't been a prince.  After examining some scenes and briefly discussing pre-Raphaelitism, O'Brien claims that Sullivan is "not Hamlet on the stage" and laments that he does not have more space to critique his performance.
