Joseph and His Friend, III <cite>Joseph and His Friend</cite> was serialized in <cite>The Atlantic Monthly</cite> beginning in January 1870 and continuing through December 1870.  It was also published as a novel by the New York firm of G. P. Putnam & Sons.
