An Old Friend in a New Dress ; (Not by the Author of The Three Fishers)

In this parody of Charles Kingsley's poem "The Three Fishers," three wives spend all of their husbands' money on silks and flowers to make dresses as a display of their wealth, but later that week an article in the newspaper reveals to the town that they are bankrupt.
