Ada Clare (whose given name was Jane McIlheny) was born in South Carolina.
Ada Clare tells readers to live for today and see all that they wish to see in their lifetimes. She then reveals some personal goals regarding things she wishes to accomplish and people she desires to meet. She also explains why the stage is such a free space for a woman to express herself.
