Abstract

The author refers to the "literary class" as deliberately offensive "vermin"--"who having no decency themselves, are unable to comprehend it in others." The previous week's edition of The Round Table is mentioned as an example of literary misconduct where a journalist aired personal grievances and slandered a lady.
