I. E. discusses current trends in art and asserts that "legitimate works of an age are its interpretations of nature, the expression of its ideas and aspirations, and these come not from slavish copying of the works of any preceding period." I. E. concludes that people should not be so quick to criticize new forms of art, which are the truest embodiment of freedom.
