The Bateman-Daly Controversy

This editorial reprinted from The New York Express attempts to explain the disagreement between the actress Miss Bateman and the playwright Mr. Daly. H.L. Bateman, the actresses father, explains that Miss Bateman does not owe Mr. Daly money for a favorable biography written by the playwright, as he did it of his own volition.
