A follow-up to N.E.'s earlier letter to the editor about the distinction between "ladies" and the "laboring classes," N.E. now claims to have discovered that the difference is that "ladies" are idle and pretend to care about the poor by offering discounted services to the laboring classes from the grocer and neglecting to donate any of their own wealth. N.E. also comments on the gossip and whining that goes on amongst "ladies."
