Not much is known about Juliette Beach’s early and later life.
The speaker is trying to convince his lover to drink the wine, explaining that each bottle has it's own history of rains and nights the grapes went through, and also of other lovers' who have taken swigs of wine and have, thus, enjoyed themselves.
