A humorous tale relating the stories of two men who go to Trenton, one to have the legislature authorize his to open a turnpike, and the other to have the legislature authorize his divorce, so he may marry a widow. One throws a champagne dinner and the other a champage breakfast for the memebers and return home after gaining their approvals. At home, they discover the legislature has authorized each for the other's request.
