Title page reads, "...with illustrations on wood, designed and drawn by the "Triangle," A. E. Waud, and the author, and engraved by John Andrew." Frank Bellew was known by the pseudonym "Triangle" and the author also explicitly thanks Bellew in the preface for his assistance with the illustrations.
