The thirty-fourth annual exhibition at the National Academy of Design in opened. The new collection contains over eight hundred pieces, many more by females, which the Saturday Press is happy about. The Press also informs its readers that it will review almost all of the artwork, and will attempt to be just in doing so. A critique of a few select pieces follows.
