The state of Ohio has commissioned Messrs. Appleton of New York to supply its libraries with books for the year of 1859. In Appleton’s storeroom currently there is a mountain of books weighing seventy-eight tons ready for shipment to Ohio. The titles supplied and number of copies of each is included at the end of the article.
