This article comments on the various amusements, shopping, and construction projects going on in New York. The construction of Central Park is mentioned as well as commentary on the Sunday Resorts in the parks and gardens of the city, the "architectural outrage" at the old Stuyvesant church, and the upcoming Philharmonic concerts.
