Located a few blocks from Pfaff's, this massive beer garden could hold up to a thousand patrons. Established by William Kramer in 1858, the Atlantic Garden catered to German immigrants but was open to New Yorkers of all backgrounds. In addition to serving food and beer, the Atlantic Garden featured musical and theatrical productions.
