Abstract

This letter recounts Clare's frustration with her friend, Mrs. Patania, for her lack of understanding of business and debt repayment. She goes on to ask Mitchell for financial advice regarding her "letter of credit" for her living accomodations. Though Clare eventually admits to being homesick, she still celebrates being in better health.
