Abstract
Clare informs Mr. Mitchell, presumably J. W. Mitchell, that she came to get money from his son "Mr. Clarence" but found he is out of town. She asks if Mr. Mitchell can send her one hundred dollars while she is at the Leader Office that afternoon. She also assures him she will sign and send back the receipt
